Our Mission
Silicon Youth Cricket Academy's mission is to provide the best T20 cricket education. We promote the spirit of fun in the face of healthy competition through the game of Cricket. At Silicon Youth Cricket Academy (SVYCA) , we are committed to encouraging young people to grow into wonderful human beings, who look after their environment, contribute to the society and who have the attributes to thrive in professional cricket as well as in a professional world of work.
Our History
Cricket is one of the fast growing team sports in North America amongst youth. With like-minded friends and parent communities in Silicon Valley communities, our academy aimed at providing the best in T20 cricket education.
We started the youth program for cricket in 2020 and have been conducting camps and sports training for ages under 9 to 13 at South San Jose parks and school grounds (camden Avenue, Union Street, Cambrian park and Almaden ) on a modest scale. Thanks to the communities as we received a continuous support, donations and program participation from both parents and students from various school boundaries within San Jose unified districts. We recently affiliated with USA Cricket to provide a passport to the global community of cricketers and coaches, where we can transition youth into a professional cricketer
SVYCA is organized and managed by parent volunteers. We practice generally on Saturday or Sunday evenings.
